There is a different btw how a dog and a human will feel when wearing the same collar. Dog have tough skin and more hair cover. They should instead look at how much wattage that collar can deliver and intro a max range that market can sell.

I am actually fine with the giy testing it on himself
In fact I think those given to him.is.insufficient

He should test like 50 collars
Maybe test whilst he's standing naked in bath tub
After all dogs do get into water
