Anyone know Is there any 14u demo units available anywhere for me to see see look look?

Over the weekend I went to JP xiaomi shop, they don't have demo, and the staff say just look at XM 13U, is the same thing.. :ROFLMAO:
I only saw Xiaomi 14 demo unit at Northpoint. Not even 13U.

Either they very confident PO is going to sell very well without the need for demo units or they just feel no matter what also wouldn't sell one so might as well save on demo units cost.

Hmm, looking at China sets available locally, price almost the same as global if add photography kit, but global set at least got warranty. Any advantages to consider China set?

Am sure CN sets will be cheaper once global sets readily available.

Waiting to see TW's price this Thursday. Will go see if they have demo units in the flagship store.

14u price drop already cheaper than retail in Huaqiangbei Shenzhen. But it's a cowboy town there unless you know how to deal with the phone dealers

Thanks for the responses. Probably will stay with safe colour black. Small difference in battery, since got extra juice from the camera grip. Like that I will wait for global version.

At the moment, photography kit brings more troubles than benefits.

Oh, that's silly. Thought should be able to function as long as plugged in. That means cannot leave the grip in.

I just went by Suntec store confirm don't have. That makes 3 stores not having it At this moment I don't think the 14 ultra display sets will be in till at least PO period is over.

very strange logic 🤔

*By default, when the smartphone's battery level is above 80%, the UPS will be activated and the grip will be used to power the smartphone.
*When the smartphone's battery level is below 80%, the smartphone will be charged (the charging speed is dynamically adjusted based on temperature, workload and battery level).

for the benefits of those thinking about getting cn sets...

singpass, dbs banking, paynow paylah, google wallet pay NFC , google stuffs all works on HyperOS cn...

well.. maybe only one small minor thing... Google discover news tab can't get onto the main page because it is taken over by HyperOS tab page. CN search still ingrained into HyperOS cn... it is a cn version after all..Other than that all is great. No problems in Singapore!

China ROM version tends to leave out e-SIM.

FYI, this is not correct, reviewer didn't check properly

inside camera grip settings, there is a toggle, "grip charging auto-disconnect"

description reads "when your device recognises that you're using a camera grip, device will stop charging and keep battery at 80%"
