it's part of her business plan , she probably aware of risk rewards. unlike those who move to JB just for cheap food fresh veg.
She's there with plans and things laid out already, while others are still looking for the pave.

Never say never in life lah. Anything is possible. Haha.

Yes, anything is possible. However, the probability is low. The size of Johor is about 3 times larger than SG but its population is about one third of SG. People seeking to buy property in Johor can always buy new developments, leaving little bargaining power for the older developments.

With the depreciation of ringgit consistently year after year (and compunded over years), the odds are further stacked unfavorably against home owners who purchase property in Johor using SGD.

If she rents a unit in Johor, the probability of her paying lower rent year after year will be pretty high.

Johor is 26 times bigger than Singapore. Not 3 times.

Same thought.
With so many supplies and demand are limited, I don't see the benefit of buying.
Renting is still better.

One benefit of buying is not having to deal with greedy/evil landlords.

Wait for Space Residency to be ready, just next to KSL but I think the rent will be high. Maybe similar to setia 88
KSL has already made that a hot area, so rent's not going to be inexpensive anytime soon.

@SongManKranji can buy, then rent to us. :s13:

remember it's johor bahru & not johor and she's running business from there. she's not buying property for capital appreciation though it's nice bonus if it comes along
