I won't buy eggs or whatever from the supermarket just because it is more affordable. It's a hassle to carry back.
That's why i dun go often. I treat it as a holiday break and go in as a tourist. To feel a different vibe from Singapore.
Rm10 for 4 to 5 pieces of big guava
Rm1 for 1 red bell pepper
Rm7 per kg of lettuce (eaten at Korean bbq as wrap)
Rm6 per kg for cauliflower cabbage n long cabbage..
Rm6:5 for 3 packs green veggie
Rm5 a pack for thin asparagus
Rm10 for 10 small oranges
Rm10 for 6 apples
Rm10 for 10 lemons
Rm5 for a good green Australia avocado
Rm12 for 3 white dragon fruits ($2 to $2.50 a piece)
Etc etc
