3 servings in 1 day, not 1 meal. So technically I can eat 1 serving of meat and 1 serving of veg in each meal, rice just eat 2-3 spoons.

most of your fasting blood sugar is not from the food, it is from your liver through the gluconeogenesis process, which converts protein into glucose.

Normally, this process will only happen when your blood sugar is low. But your liver does not function properly, it pumps more sugar into your blood even when the blood sugar level is high.

Be patient and stick to your diet, your liver needs time to rehabilitate.
