I'm a bariatric patient, I'm allow 3 servings of meat protein and 1 serving of veg for fibre.

Most of the times just blanch/sauteed some leafy greens or doubleboiled a pot of vegetable soup.
Your BMI is pretty high to qualify for bariatric surgery.

Lying on the bed waiting for doc
I am shocked to see my blood sugar surged to 11+ (from 9.6) despite I fasted for 14h
most of your fasting blood sugar is not from the food, it is from your liver through the gluconeogenesis process, which converts protein into glucose.

Normally, this process will only happen when your blood sugar is low. But your liver does not function properly, it pumps more sugar into your blood even when the blood sugar level is high.

Be patient and stick to your diet, your liver needs time to rehabilitate.

All my meds are actually vitamins and supplements. I have calcium, iron injection, Recormon injection, 2 forms of Vit D, a multivits and Simvastatin which I have taken for almost 30 years.
u have been taking simvastatin for very long?

Yes, before bariatric, I was 34. My current is 24. According to my dietician, due to my current condition, if down to 22 is big no no.
I think your condition needs careful calibration and monitoring..
Do what works for u and adjust accordingly.
You have come so far, just continue what u r doing right.
