Black poop but hopefully should be the remaining ones
Only the latest reading of haemo for tmr tells
You admitted under which department?

Gastro? General surgery? Or internal medicine? Endocrinology?

My guess is gastro or GS. Main focus of your admission is your bleeding GI.

Really? You ask the nurse when she comes again. Strange if you active bleeding GI admitted to endocrine. Unless endocrine took over but then your Hb not yet really normal.
Endoscopy is from which dept?
Either that or gastroenterology

U go see iherb for pure Psyllium Husk how much is it loh. Polyclinic doc prescribe Fybogel is $12.80 or so for a box of 28 sachets. Even JB pharmacies don't have this type of price. You want cheaper u go JB buy Abbot Surbex nutri-fiber. $9.90 for 30 sachets. Its more flexi than fybogel coz can mix into any drinks including my daily cup of kopi. I use a combination of both.
chiu mix it in cold or hot kopi? quite er xin to drink jelly hot kopi with guni insai :frown:

Let see tomorrow morning can be better than 8.1

Now you know no snacking especially sweet drinks, fruits and desserts will make your BS shoot sky high.

The hospital foods you ate in TTSH, the calories are only enough to sustain your hospitalization lifestyle, but is not enough to sustain your professional lifestyle outside. Let see how the dietician can help you design your meals based on your input.

Talk to your Endocrine doctor if you see them tomorrow morning, tell them you are very concern to get your diabetes under control. Your Endocrine doctor may adjust your oral meds dosage, or include insulin injection.

Lifestyle changes is NEVER easy. Especially for a bui bui to include daily exercise. Mai gek kiang like carry extra 5kg load to walk under hot sun, I can chop and sign you will give up within 3 days. Always start slow and simple, like walk 5km after dinner and before your sleep. Push yourself to walk everyday, if you continue for 2 weeks never give up, then you will likely to continue.

Fybogel is just mixed with room temperature water. That one got orange flavour liao, cannot mix with other drinks. The Abbot one is really texture and flavour netural one. I added to my kopi kosong (with fresh milk in it one) and it didn't alter the taste or anything.

i would have expected you to choose that out of the 3 options lol. The other 2 options don't have sugar.
I would choose plain water...

Milo in TTSH is so bloody sweet although it is no sugar but the hospital use the Nestlé premixed machine, means the Milo powder they use is Milo gao siew dai.

Tea O is unsweetened but in my opinion, not for human consumption.

Coffee O same as Tea O.
