if lower intestinal, large intestines downwards, stool will be red.

if upper intestinal, stomach-small intestines. stool will be black coz blood digested by body.

I just went to some Mt Elizabeth specialist. I was told even colon will be dark and black. Red usually rectum Liao.

Learned something thanks
Ligament of Treitz. Anythig before it is upper GI bleed. Below it is lower GI bleed.

The ligament of Treitz is a thin band of tissue (peritoneum) that connects and supports the end of the duodenum and beginning of the jejunum in the small intestine.

Stool is black because it the blood is digested aa it goes through the intestine.

Fresh blood PR is lower GI usually large intestine.

TS haemoglobin drop from 9.8 (moderate anemia) to 7.6 (severe) over 4-5 days due to internal bleeding. Endoscopy found duodenum erosion (ulcer) as source of bleeding.

Bleeding endoscopic clipped and transfusion of 1 pack of blood and has recovered to moderate anaemia over 1-2 days.

As for u, in moderate range for female and is stable? (compared with previous test).
Women has a lower Hb range compared to men.
