Yes and no.

PCNs take away space from pedestrian walkways plus some greenery.

You can argue it’s a more efficient use of land space but the flip side is something has to give as well.

Yes. They cut through another path so you lose the greenery for that area.

My friend who is a cyclist says it’s a more efficient use of land space. To me it’s you win some you lose some. Like you got more roads, you get less greenery.
