Heng, I use Youtrip not much problem. Once card payment not thru, need to pay cash. Was told Youtrip spoil Kskin payment terminal, use GrabPay no issue.

Sometime last week YT was down in the morning. Read that quite a few already in JB got "shocked". Good to have access to alternative cards.

I wonder how the 10-digit PIN will be revealed. If it's anything like those old prepaid mobile top up vouchers where one scratches the gray strip to reveal the PIN, good to ask the dealer if they'd give a refund or exchange if the PIN doesn't work. With prepaid mobile, I read some had to seek help from the respective telco.

Also, I doubt we can pay for such PINs with credit/debit cards. Let's hope I'm wrong...

Breakfast Platter. Beef bacon was oil lubricated but good, not tough not overcooked. The rest of the items were pretty standard fare. RM36.90

Salmon Florentine. Nothing to dislike, the salmon was machiam medium-medium rare, the core soft and tender. RM58

Cromboloni - Chocobananut. RM16
Pretty substantial pastry, not as airy as a croissant. Decadently enriched by peanutbutter and nutella or one of the related knockoff cousins.

Delightful delectable mess, madness. Needs to be shared else too cloying / jelat.

Because of proximity to Singapore, their prices are also northwards. Prices felt on par with Nimmies cafe.

Prevailing crowd that morning were young singaporeans, xmms and their bfs. Me and my waifu raised the average age up.

Roadside parking was plain horrible, ended up parking at the nearby Galleria mall. Depending on your threshold, arguably walkable from CIQ.

Yes, except at night. Some bus drivers turn off ceiling lights. Total walking distance from SouthKey bus stop to SouthKey basement loading bay entrance is relatively short (~500m). The loading bay area has decent lighting.

Do it only daytime. Once alight, it's somewhere behind the bus stop so can give yourself a few moments to gauge your direction before walking forward. Mostly will have someone else walking in if you take the bus from JB Sentral, either other SGeans or MYsians working there. It's an entrance (there should be a sign next to it indicating it's leading to the mall), then walk in (short passageway) and you'll enter the actual shopping area via the door facing Nando's.

Just be alert while boarding the bus, alight, and walk in. Always get your fare ready beforehand, plan ahead. Sit nearer to the driver if you can.

Alight from bus, cross driveway behind bus stop, walk in.
