Chinatown there got a stall iirc, how much is it in Sg now? Every now and then I see a illegal seller at one of my two markets
No idea of the cost these days as I switched to supermarket prepacked ones for many years already, since it's either "wrong" price or quantity (attractive price but miserable quantity). IIRC last spotted a mobile one at Tiong Bahru market.

Anyone went bukit indah today? Seems like there is a big blackout ... Heng I never go
I was there in morning for eggs and my usual Hai Ke kopi gao gao kosong between 10 to 11 am then proceeded to tuta for lai kee kway teow…

Didn’t experience black out while I was there…

Oh… I was at Aeon Jusco Bukit indah around 1 pm … also didn’t experience black out…

PMX had black out on last Sunday morning and they offered clients a Rm10 voucher each for turning clients away…

I returned in afternoon for the dim sum and at check out, I was offered another voucher value at Rm5.

Today I went to tabao and use the Rm5 voucher.

I was asked by the staff for my name and phone no for using the voucher. I was shock and asked Y …

The idiotic gangster looking staff wearing earrings said in case the voucher was stolen and given out by staff … I then reminded him that they gave out vouchers cos Sunday black out and shutting of their outlet … he then said on Sunday they had issued in total Rm170… what is Rm170 to them?

Hilarious !

I won’t go there again…

For stuff where I know there is no need for them to contact me after that, especially this kind of carpark/dining voucher distribution where I take my voucher and use and be happy, I will give a fake name and phone number. Or if you have a spare phone and line, you can use that number. May the fortune God be with you if you happen to win Sheng Siong lucky draw and answer the call on your non-main line lol.

Traffic across Causeway very low - 27 mins to JB & 18 mins to SG...rare at this time.
You wait for this afternoon onwards, the checkpoints will BBQ for the next one month. School holiday starts today. This morning the kids are still in school.

If I'm not wrong, Malaysia school holiday for 2 weeks also start today.

Malaysia school holidays could have started as I met families at Big Ben (medini mall) on Saturday …

In jb, their school week is Sunday to Thursday and same goes for the govt institutions ..

Love to eat, hate to peel, so I've switched to eating those peeled one from supermarket.

Got a few times walked by and he was in the process of cooking a new batch, smells so good. Are his easy to peel? If they don't stick to the skin, I will buy.

Great slow carb snacks.

The Portuguese egg tart beside the kopi beans shops is not bad. Kopi bad though, good place to people watch.
When I was having toilet break in yong peng (to Melaka), the seller give me a plastic thing make peeling very easy.

Recently bot chicken meat for son’s meal and the meat tastes funny… didn’t taste like chicken…

I suspect is lab meat…

At least at jb, they get to eat real meat and no chance to eat Lab meat…

Dun think can find cultured/lab meat in Sg for now, used to be available only at Huber's Butchery at Dempsey Hill ?last yr, but even then they stopped. And was very expensive then.

But those fake meat / impossible food type got many ..
The generic meat is in SG, saw in SG expo. Usually fried stuffs.
I won't think JB are into it yet.

I believe jb or MY will go into lab meat cos they are producing it themselves …

Sg has no own natural resources so have to resort to using all this “food”

That yellow color half shell-like thingy? Used to get from the chestnut booth in City Square preC19. Can only help to crack the shell but if flesh stuck to inner shell also no use...

Yes, help to crack the shell. If it's fresh, the meat will easy come off.

I not sure they still hv the rest, its beside the coach rest stop area. For cars park further away abit.
That could be the old Lucky Garden that's gone after C19. The other coach rest stop's Ming Ang (aka Ming Ann) that's across from Xiao Mei Otah.

Luxury Coach used to stop at Lucky Garden, not sure about now.

Lucky Garden was the one with entrance next to a fish pond, then had to walk all the way to the other end for toilets. Outside the toilets was a minimart.

Ming Ann's toilets entrance's next to a small snack shop.
