Yep.
Samsung, Alienware, Gigabyte, MSI, Asus all same 32" OLED panel.

One thing in Samsung's favour is that the Samsung is a smart monitor, essentially a 32 inch smart OLED TV as it has streaming apps like Netflix and also wireless OTA firmware upgrades, so upgrading firmware is automatic.

i saw it in Reddit that the monitor covered in Canada for 2yrs but not in USA not sure it is true
i also have check and call Samsung Sg sales they say for oled monitor there is no burn in warranty it is only covered for TV
and he say if there is issue with Oled monitor they will evaluate it case by case basis :s22: :s22:
Thanks for checking. So, it's only the standard 3 yrs warranty and the rest like burn in will be on a case-by-case basis.

Are they the same panel just different branding?
Using same Oled panel doesn't mean they will produce the same output. Color accuracy may be diff across all diff brands. Beside this, the diff in firmware, build quality, features also is something one should consider when buying.

Think 3300 is sale price, but not sale price is around 4000 yuan. Still not very expensive. Sg shopping like shopee just chop ppl

34 model is Q8.

That is merely the price of the monitor; how much will shipping and taxes cost?
And what about the warranty?
Why so much hassle to buy items a little cheap yet so many question marks

with sale going on Acer still beat them with 3 yrs local warranty
$899 not include with voucher and discount
and i bought this during promo for $698 :s13: :s13:

Pro tip for anyone buying the Samsung G80SD 32" 4K monitor.
Order from Courts. They're offering an additional discount ($220) on top of the preorder price. Got mine for $1629, including delivery.

I can't find this monitor on Courts sg website. How did you get this deal? Did you have to go to an actual physical retail branch and which branch?

btw take note there is no burn in warranty for Samsung but other than that all good
I believe the warranty differs from region to region, I'm getting different responses from different people. Customer support also seems pretty clueless on this. Samsung needs to sort out their internal messaging and policies. But yes to be safe just assume that there's no burn-in warranty.
