The policy will be U-turned when someone related to someone has made enough money out of it.

The obstacles to making it happen are relatively simple fixes but they won't, because when that someone needs more money, they'll just resurrect the project again for a quick buck.

Apply this to everything that comes from north of our borders and you'll have an easier time.

What's the rush. Free money for malaysia side during the first vep. Now more are giving money again for round 2. :s13:

Somehow, I managed to re-update my car insurance, road tax, passport details and couple of days later, my status changed from "pending verification" to "verified". Originally, I share the same sentiment as you that, as with anything Malaysia, this will likely get postponed again due to all kinds of issues and I hesitated to proceed to pay for the mail in RFID tag. After a long consideration, given that the RFID tag will enable TNG ewallet to be top up anytime, anywhere, I took the plunge this afternoon and made the payment. RFID can do top up using the app anytime, anywhere, that's a plus point compared to the conventional dumb physical card. I previously have to keep like RM200 in the physical dumb TNG card to make sure I will have enough money for my next trip up north. If the TNG wallet works as it claimed, it will be one less worry I have to prepare for the trip up north next time.

Now, my status changed to "Pending for tag processing". Finger crossed the RFID tag will safely be mailed to my Singapore address.🤞🏻 Will update once I receive the tag and link it with the TNG wallet.

Also paid rm56 today to be delivered.
Had some issue but surprising they reply quite fast, even verification of documents took one day only. They even suggested minor amendment and I accepted it through the portal.

Website layout very cui though.

Dear coyote,

Could you share the detail of your updating process? I am renewing my VEP and manage to update my vehicles and passport details. However, there is no prompting for the payment.

Confidence for the future. More good years ahead...
Thank you.

You will need to wait for your status to change from "pending verification" to "verified", then you'll see the "tag option". Select that and you can choose to self collect or mail to Singapore or mail to a Malaysia address.

After I made the payment, status changed this now.

Dear coyote,

Thank you for your prompt reply. I have had submitted but my status remains empty. As of today, the Tag is still my current VEP tag which is expiring in August.

I have tried the other weblink to check, and nothing has been registered there.

Am I having the right process? What should I be expecting next?

Confidence for the future. More good years ahead...
Thank you.

The top want automation to get rid of corruption. But the ground want kopi lui.

Not only that. I hated those petrol kiosks or newstands that charges RM0.50 for every top up. PLUS top up can only be done at some highway tool booths, free. Yet they are not available out of the highway and give all these small kiosks and newstands to earn RM0.50. Well, then these alibaba will imposed rules like cash only, no credit cards. And more often than not, they say, "System down..." and I got stranded and have to make special trips to top up elsewhere.

I think you have chosen the 'self-collection' option? I supposed payment will be made at the danga bay collection center. The download is for the confirmation slip. But somehow my interface looked different.
