Are you getting different responses from various people?Is it from their sales or support, or simply someone you know or read about?I've previously phoned them, and they said Samsung monitors do not cover burn-in except for their TVs, and if there is an issue with the monitor, they will review it on a case-by-case basis.If you were informed by their sales or support, why are there so many varied answers?Why do they have separate warranties for different regions rather than making them all the same coz it will make thing difficult for themselves

Normally monitor have no international warranty so regional specific sales and managed is very common for many large corporations

My samsung G8 is here! Shiok a big upgrade from my 9yr old acer xb271hu.

Technology really comes a long way since then , even at 20-30fps the G8 is so much smoother than a hardware gsync xb271hu

Samsung do not have burn in warranty for their monitor here. So, it's a case-by-case basis approach if you encounter burn in.

AW3423DWF is a 2K 3440x1440 pixels monitor. It doesn't support 4K res. If you play 4K video it will downscale to 2K.

2k resolution for a 27 inch size ( 34 inch ultrawide basically is a 27 inch with its sides extended) has a decent PPI that is sharp enough in my opinion. PPI is about 109

4k reso at 32 inch size PPI is about 138 PPI.

Yes 4k for sure is sharper at 32 inch but for a 27 inch size, the clarity from a 109 PPI looks sharp already and GPU also can generate much higher frames vs a 4k reso.

Like for me i had options and used a 4k 32inch monitor and to me no wow factor, i go back to a 1440p 34 inch ultrawide and prefer the immersiveness of the ultrawide much more than the 4k clarity on a 32 inch.

That's because there is not much difference in terms of PPI. 100+ PPI is really just average these days, so there is not much difference.

If you look at the flagship mobile and laptop, the PPI is a few hundred, and it looks much sharper.

Screen manufacturers are not prioritizing monitors, what can we do.
