I don't even know what the point of the whole show is. There's no plot build up. It's filled with a lot of pointless actions and conversations. The characters talk a lot but don't actually say anything much and even when they seem like they are about to say something interesting, they either get cut off or they just walk away. WTF are a whole bunch of jedi masters on the planet using metal detectors? They have no probes? Cannot send padawans? Republic got no troops or survey corps? What was the point of the whole bathing scene? It took like a good half of the episode but served no real purpose. They could have spent that time filming the fight of the wookie jedi master vs the sith instead, instead of just killing him off-screen. I'm sure most of us would have preferred that. Ironic that they claimed that they didn't show the wookie jedi getting killed because they were out of budget yet they wasted precious money on the sith lord taking a bath?
The last episode is especially WTF. Why did the gopher sabotage sol's ship? Osha (supposedly the calmer one) decides to force choke Sol without hearing him out? Even more WTF is that she only raises her hand to do it after Sol starts choking. Then she decides to become a sith just like that? Memory wipe, what's that crap? Master Yoda, one of the most powerful Jedi, is seemingly oblivious to the deaths of a whole bunch of Jedi masters despite being able to feel the deaths that occurred from order 66?
I don't even know who's supposed to be the MC. The sisters seem like extra filler, not helped by the fact that the actress has only one expression. Even the child actors playing the younger versions of them have more expression. I don't like how they try to make the whole thing about Jedi evil while trying to humanize a Sith.
There's so much more I want to criticize. I think the the only purpose of season 1 is to serve as padding so that the director can get a season 2.
