the withdrawal feature finally came... the small restrictions are reasonable.

credit card top up sure cannot, it would be seen as a loophole for cash advance.
debit card maybe got some fees that would cost them if they allow the free withdrawal.

Does it matter? IOS and android also have more and more common features.

I’m not sure what you mean does it matter. I did not say it’s a good thing or bad thing, I’ve been using both since end 2019. I’m just commenting the so called new feature introduced by YouTrip has been in placed by Revolut for years.

First it was Applepay; then they removed the $5 fee per withdrawal and use Revolut $400 monthly limit model; and now the direct bank top up and withdrawal.

Neither did i say it is good nor bad. I'm saying companies will copy each other if customers demand for it. They want people to use their products. Same for apple and google. They copy each other too because users demand for those features. This is the real world. Customers will drive the companies to deliver. This is what i am saying. End of the day, it is up to the customers to decide who to use or use all of them. I have yt, revolut abd trust. I use whichever i feel like it. Any cash left i will withdraw back to my bank acct.

Well based on your theory, it sure seems like YouTrip finally took notice of what the consumers want after 5 years. 👍

anyone compared DBS debit card FCY vs Youtrip? since dbs now got 2% cashback on FCY and no FX fee.

Of course DBS wins. But I heard it is for invited customers only?
Its on dbs website, nv state by invite only. U can go see, just need to link the card to your acct.
2% is capped at $20. But if the fcy rate overall better,
Than why not!

Ok thanks. I’d gob find out more. But if rebate capped at $20, then only can spend $1k. Anything more no rebates.
