Can. Just need to find a place to park. Some condos will let you buy season parking.

I know some big malaysian boss is building a track at X park Sunway iskandar, he is trying to attract Singapore ASK to go there and play, the membership for the track includes 2 sheltered parking lots. he said Singapore ASKs can buy a supercar in Malaysia and park in one of the lot, the other lot is to park sinkie car when drive in.

BMW cars wont last long in our extreme humid region. In 15 years, engine, the electronic seat adjuster all will kaput. Your friend is far better off buying a Proton car if he intent to keep the car forever in JB.
Now proton is rebadge of China Geely car.. cannot last. Better off buying Perodua, Rebadge Daihatsu or Toyota but have to wait until neck long.

PR cannot drive Malaysian registered cars into Singapore.

Cars will get into trouble if you don't drive often. The battery will be the first one to go. Depreciation will still kick in especially for brands like BMW which is prone to issues.

Foreigners can own and drive cars in Malaysia. Maintenance and parking may have some issues if you only go there once in a blue moon... The battery will likely not work unless you don't mind the trouble of disconnecting it before leaving Malaysia... Parking wise, while there are smaller neighborhood that you can park for free but people will discover your "abandoned" car sooner and things start to go missing, maybe starting from the wheels... Parked inside a house also means you have to own one. So how? Spend RM1M or RM0.5M to buy a house in JB just to drive a RM80K second hand car?

I still have not figure out this hack yet. TKL also taking public transport in Malaysia??? Maybe there isn't a solution since he has a place to park and afford most cars and chosen not to own one?

Actually I don't know how some people are brave enough to drive their nice and shiny SG car into JB/MY and park everywhere.

I reach there, park at the house and my SG car doesn't move till I leave for SG. I will change to my MY car.
