just send it to a proper shoe repair shop
got mine glued & stitched on my Caterpillar boots for around $40 ish?

at least u feel assured that the job done is well worth it

but if ts finds it too expensive, for whatever reason he's saving the money for, then opt for the cheaper method as in to diy

now sure expensive...

Me also not good with hands work..

Don’t say the glue works or not.. before that I will first make a mess of the place and my hands and finally the shoe itself that will tell everyone that it’s my masterpiece.. And not to say the glue smell makes me feel awful..

But maybe I didn’t use correct tool, don’t have the skill or techniques too

Me go Chinatown cobbler square.. to repair the base of my work shoe. Tot wan sarpork. Unker upsell me say 60 dollar need change the whole base plus stitch.

I go JB do 25rm the guy glue and stitch nicely. Been 3 months shoe still works well

Me like the attitude of this Indonesian unker at Bukit indah outside the public bank. It's the row of restoran Osman. He just nest his tools on the floor and do there. Usually comes at noon according to him. Good to leave your shoe then go shopping or massage lol. Very reasonable pricing
