Highly likely the bead shaped thermistor issue. If the copper bullet type thermistor issue, green led fault lights will show. Yes, measure the resistance for both items. Bullet type thermistor is 7.6K Ohms.

The thermistor issue can be linked to turning on another unit?

I’m just bought a Powerpac wet/dry vacuum cleaner to clear my aircon piping. The paper instructions say to always leave the HEPA filter inside but since I just want to use it to suck out water, can I remove the HEPA filter and use the vacuum cleaner just like that?

Not sure which model you bought. Mine had some water enter the black cover. I was using a cloth to dry it. But kept seeing water seep out from the cover joint. Unscrew the cover then saw inside has water. Luckily the electrical wires are covered with the rubber seal.

I bought the PPV1500.

I’m not sure if HEPA filter material can be washed so remove it. The vacuum cleaner worked as expected, sucked out the dirty water from my aircon piping.

blower got stuck. hopefully can use lubricant to unstuck it
For Daikin & Starmex, one end is the motor and the other end is rubber, i cannot think of any reasons why it can get stucked unless you did not install it properly after taking it out or that the blower motor is spoilt or that your pcb board is damaged?

I rather not take the risk and damage the fragile plastic inserts, levers or motor. Let the skilled technicians perform chemical overhaul, since it requires both skills and equipment to remove the dirt, grime and jelly from the blower and drain pan.

What’s the most effective way to clean the blower drum without removing it? Can I just use those aircon foam spray on it?
