Increase GST and most taxes and say "helping" again ?

Cannot create or produce country nett wealth and $$ but can only work on robin-hood style where many suffers but some gain ? Concept from insurance, pool everyone $$ and 'help' using themselves ?

In the end, more and more become poorer and suffering becomes widespread when becomes exorbitant or crazy cost of living like now ?
Maybe time to cut his pay then he will feel the real “cost of living”

Now is studying kns !

Exactly.

How convenient it is just to slip a few words to say they're considering doling out more support for the sandwiched generation whom they forgot about and just say “Such additional support will add to broad-based schemes such as the CDC vouchers, and cost of living payouts and U-Save rebates that target the lower- and middle-income groups.“.

These schemes have their existing eligibility criteria which excludes some needy families for some reason or other.

Government has been running surveys on the rally. The feedback i submitted is along related lines. On how I was disappointed not much focus on cost of living issues, especially for singles and elderlies - and in particular combinations of both in the same household. Medical costs (even for routine check ups) for elderlies are getting expensive especially if you are 80s / 90s. Medisave and flexi-medisave gets used up by middle of the year even just to cater for routine consultations, checks and medication from your Healthier SG GP. Some drugs are prescribed by the GPs as a matter of routine to better manage chronic diseases, but are NOT subsidised by the govt. These include some dementia related drugs. Depending on the prescription, these can cost a few dollars PER tablet.

Hopefully quantum of CDC vouchers can be related to the number of citizens living in the same household (instead of a lump sum per household regardless of the number of citizens), with additional amounts for those with elderlies and children (esp single caregiving children) staying in the same household.

Robin-hood (tax and tax and tax domestically) and subsidies or grant (cannot cover the rate of increase in crazy cost of living) but no nett wealth created will only keep increasing suffering faster and cost of living at faster rate ?

It's not correct or good for citizen ?
