Experience submitting complaint to CASE? For my Samsung Z Fold 6 phone

iOS itself is the downfall of iPhones since it's made only for simpletons. No matter how good the durability, warranty, and service are, it is pointless for people with different kinds of workflow when smartphone features like split windows, draggable windows, and minimized icons are unavailable on iPhones. If you are simpleton this is the perfect phone for you.

On the other hand, china phone OS is barely polished at all, and surface-level bugs take forever to fix, reliability is its downfall. It's actually a complete joke to buy a CN flagship for $1200+, not to mention that you get ads on them. There's a reason why Samsung is the preferred choice in the Android market, owning a whopping 24% of the market share even with the dozens of android phones out there.

Samsung's downfall is their phone cannot last because the durability is dogshit. People buy their phones for the features and functionality set that can be customized to cater to anyone's usage and, at the same time, provide a robust and polished experience, but its not for poor people, every 1-2 year prepare change phone.

Pick your poison, the fact is that there's no perfect phone on the market. No need to bitch which one is better than other.

Amass all the online reports, if within 6 months? claim quickly try to claim Lemon Law 😶

That's why I never spend more than $400 on a phone. If anything goes wrong and cannot claim, then too bad lor, just throw away and get a new one from another brand.

Even if I'm that suay to have to go through 3-4 units in quick succession, still cheaper than one flagship model.

Simpleton users are very friendly easy loyal customers , will buy new 2k sgd phone after every sept , can message, watch utube, take pictures can already ..

wear and tear with green line is only for savvy customers

go straight to small claims tribunal, don't need to bother about CASE

I agree. Go straight to Small Claims Tribunal and lay out your case. Just that you need to seek some legal advice to backup your case to make the arguments more receptive to the court if you decide to represent yourself. Small Claims Tribunal no point use lawyer.

CASE is a paper tiger. It can only give paper cuts and nothing more. Businesses are laughing at this useless chook because it has no enforcement capability and cannot force businesses to accept any resolutions proposed by CASE. Only CCS have enforcement power but it has to be referred to it by CASE, I don't think CCS accepts cases direct from consumers.

To TS, for me I no longer buy the high end Samsuck phones. I just buy the A series line and they are surprising hardy and good and not expensive. Go for the A5x series unless u want the older A7x series which have been discontinued because the specs are a bit too good and challenging their top end phones.

Yes they did, some one from the customer service centre got in touch and offered free repair for my screen and a rebate of $80 for the next phone. I remember it was the flip 3 period.

I did not proceed and went for iPhone 14 instead,. Boycott Samsung since they refuse to take responsibility of the green and pink lines issue.

moi using fruits hp as main and poco as backup

gave up on samsung after the green, pink lines appear lor on previous flagship models

Thats why i very skeptical about buying all these flip/fold phones. A lot of issues. Dunno why people still want to take the plunge.

Buy cheap china phone + iphone is best. Can enjoy best of both world.

Samsung marketing damn strong, sometime i wonder if they are marketing company or IT company. Everywhere I go always see their poster/banner/etc. Even more aggressive than apple.

Phones are depreciating asset. Who so free to complain about wear and tear should really rethink their life. After 5 years, your pristine condition phone also no more value left.

I also got screen issues on my samsung phone. Corner screen keep flickering white.
Is fold 6 a good phone? Waiting for xmas sale

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of submitting a complaint to CASE against Samsung - my pricey Z Fold 6 (crafted black) has started peeling around the buttons and it's gotten worse over time. Samsung has refused to do anything about it (and yes I have Care+, not that it matters).

There are a lot of reports online but here's just 1 example:

How can a charger cause the paint to peel??? And they don't even include a charger with their phones! Plus I have not been using any lousy charger, I've been using UGreen.... shouldn't their phones come with a huge disclaimer if there's this kind of caveat??

To make a complaint, I first need to sign up for a 1 year membership (about S$27?), then another $10+ as admin fee. Quite ridiculous frankly but it is what it is.

Is it even worth it to do it? I don't know how strong my case is, but I just think Samsung can just keep reiterating their case that this is a cosmetic damage and not covered.
Case is a useless entity. Usually Elvin Tay do SCT.
