After filling out the e-form, I was asked to deposit the fund within three working days. Will OCBC earmark the fund on the same day as the deposit date because I don't want my fund sitting idle there?

Too late liao, you never ask them first!

I just read tnc, I dun like the tnc, never explain! DBS one is better, very specific on start and end date, I put in earlier is ok cos i still earn "high interest rate" and not 0.05%!

Indeed, OCBC is always sneaky in their promotions. I went for DBS 3.2% 1Y FD (max $19999) instead.

Yesterday I was at HQ, they told me FD 6mth hv 3.5 / 3.55 %

But you have to also lock in 6mth 10% of ur FD amount in some other regular savings account which u hv to open and maintain $500 to avoid fall below for tat account

you must ask them for the standard FD
the standard FD is 3.2% for 6mth
they have 2 type of FD
