They should get more to sell in the first place.Markets seems like flooded with iPhone 16 but yet Singtel no more stocks for now.

i opted for esim if i dont activate it and jsut use the sim card is ok ? hahaUsing esim is a nightmare, waited 4 hours (and counting) for cso to chat with me to issue me an esim QR code.
If they can’t automate the process, they are not ready for esim.
Your sim card will be no service very soon. Just like you’re assigned with new sim card, your old one will be no service after awhile.i opted for esim if i dont activate it and jsut use the sim card is ok ? haha
Oh. Port-in?Using esim is a nightmare, waited 4 hours (and counting) for cso to chat with me to issue me an esim QR code.

Recontract. They told me once the QR issued, the previous line will be out of service very soon, that’s why I didn’t ask for it this morning.Oh. Port-in?
For my recontract line, Singtel emailed me the qr on Wed
My Singtel email indicates esim will be activated either by scanning it using iPhone or by 5 Oct.Recontract. They told me once the QR issued, the previous line will be out of service very soon, that’s why I didn’t ask for it this morning.

And because of that, if e timing is not right, will be in limbo as old phone cannot clear contents and cannot sell/trade in!Your sim card will be no service very soon. Just like you’re assigned with new sim card, your old one will be no service after awhile.
They will need the receipt for proof of recontract / contract. Not just anyone can sell - that is inaccurate information.Hey guys, just a PSA:
You can actually sell your phone at the Carousell booths in SingtelShops.
Was asking my SingTel Service Rep during the purchase this morning if I can still ‘trade-in’ my phone since I opted for physical appt. They have the booths these 2 days and got my iPhone 15 Pro Max 1TB assessed quickly and easily for $1450 (due to 88% batt health). Had some minor housing scratches but it wasn’t an issue.
Went back home to transfer and came back by noon to sell off. They just need the phone (without box or charge cable). They will need a screenshot of General > About (Phone details) before resetting the phone. Payment via PayNow.
Hassle free than having to sell to other buyers on carousell and IMO, better value than mobile shops.
