I may be Zek Ark but I hope they do a proper job and really replaced all the damage track b4 reopening the EWL. Safety is of utmost importance compared to a shoddy job and trying to reopen it ASAP.

Might as well do a thorough check now and close for as long as they need to do a full repair/replacement.

If anybody is still wondering, Powertrip is the official reason given by smrt to prevent people from panicking or something but real reason is a first generation C151 train derailing outside ulu pandan depot (between clementi and jurong east), causing a power trip there and a train at clementi to start vaping and the tracks outside the depot to be damaged with the train still stuck there.
