For example, when Singh asked her for more details that day, Ms Khan claimed the event took place "three years ago, in the early part of the year" and that she met the survivor "at the bus stop near the Bedok police station".

"You're adding more facts to support a lie," said Mr Jumabhoy. "So it's a lie heaped upon a lie. And then it's going to be wrapped up in more lies, isn't it?"

Based on what I read from the text exchanges she had with the other 2, she said she had lied about accompanying sexual assault victim to police station because she felt it'll make the story more impactful (or something like that).

Don't think she was out to bring WP down when she told the lie, cos if WP down, she may not have chance to be voted in again as WP MP in future GE.

If you read her testimony, you'll notice that she tried to portray herself as saint/angel.

Eg when asked why she didn't tell anyone (except her 2 aides) that WP leader, as alleged by her, told her to continue the lie. She said oh because she wanted to protect the party leaders..

The prosecution then asked her why she omitted to mention Singh’s Oct 3 advice to her to maintain her lie, when quizzed by Leader of the House Indranee Rajah on Nov 1 as to why she repeated her lie to Parliament on Oct 4.

To this, Ms Khan reiterated her earlier point about wanting to protect her party leaders, and to take full responsibility for her mistake.

She really is a hypocrite through and through.
