Yes, she was, but like the AGC mentioned, the COP procedures here in this trial are irrelevant. This trial is about someone needing to prove that he did not lie.
Need another COP to investigate COP procedures at this point because a botched investigation does make people wonder…

to have the powers to go through messages and delete, but yet it’s irrelevant to the trial is kind of crazy…

From all that’s been revealed so far, seems like she never took it seriously. Running for the election or being elected.

She seems to not understand the seriousness of being an opposition MP or the severity of her lie on many occasions. I don’t think she even realises that she could bring down WP, and never even think about being voted in again lor… :s22:
is she's even living in the same realm as the rest of us

Ya she's too dumb to realize that Shanmugen can easily ask police to conduct a check. When Shan said he checked, that's when she became a lao hong biscuit.

Yeah. Then she panicked and keep going to PS and her 2 woke people (LPY and YN) to ask

How ah? How ah? Siao liao this time.

So old already still cannot face the problem herself and drag so many people down the deep hole

Not sure if onus if on one to be able to conclusively prove his/her innocence or for the prosecution to establish guilt beyond reasonable doubt.

Same applies to say ... if a lady accuses you of outrage of modesty.

Especially if it's without irrefutable video evidence or collaborative testimonials from independent & reliable witnesses.

We should be glad that our ruling party helps us to test whether the Opposition Parties are really made of steel and can withstand pressure. Once they pass the test, we can safely vote for them.
din crack under pressure for 10 yrs - checked
books audited without proof of wrong doing - checked
shut up someone alleging unlawful activities - checked

verdict: passed.......

taken from a Today article not related to this case...

"One major presumption that must not be overlooked is the presumption of innocence.

This means that a person is presumed to be innocent until proven, beyond reasonable doubt before a court of law, to be guilty of a crime. This presumption applies automatically to all criminal proceedings."

So i guess its for prosecution to prove without reasonable doubt that PS lied...

Pritam Singh’s trial resumes today

Workers’ Party (WP) chief Pritam Singh’s trial resumes this afternoon. The hearing was stood down yesterday as defence counsel Andre Jumabhoy was unwell, and had a two-day MC.

Deputy Principal District Judge Luke Tan is set to make a decision on the defence’s application to get the redacted and unredacted messages of former WP cadre Yudhishthra Nathan, which were submitted to the Committee of Privileges.

Mr Jumabhoy said the two sets of messages would indicate whether Mr Nathan’s and Ms Loh Pei Ying’s testimonies were credible.

The defence is also expected to resume cross-examination of Mr Nathan.
