Find every opportunities to have photos taken with important people in SG.

Print and frame them put on your office table to let the whole world know.

I know some shameless FT expats in big MNCs did that long time ago, frame up photo taken with LKY and put on office desk face outwards.

What I personally see at the higher level of grassroots like the RC CCC various EC and school SAC are that many are SME businessmen and women and many are pulled in by their kakis. It’s a big system of patronage and kaki-ness that is hard to explain. But at its simplest, most join because someone inside pull you in.

Lol... If you are single OK... If you are married... Sometimes it cost you everything.... Free is the most expensive thing in the world.
Well if you made the choice to eat mangoes then you deserve whatever outcome isn’t it?

Be careful what favours you pull.
Nothing is free.

Nothing negative.
Its basic nature how mankind survive as tribal animals.

Exactly . There are a lot of 好差事 and there are a lot of 苦差事,and you just have to do some 苦差事 for people and they will remember you when there is 好差事.

and I see these SME towkays all playing this game while living in landed and driving their 7 series and S class.

happy life

if i had known can get priority for BTO and schools, i would chiong and be a dog for the MP.

1st pot of gold and solve ur children admission to primary school.

1st pot of gold easily $400-700k nowadays. It pays better than most people's fulltime job. assuming bidding for BTO means under $14k salary.
