The aunty got scold you? The last time I went she very weird. Only when I ordered 3 bowls of $10 then she slightly more ok. Then she saw me putting chilli powder on my dry mee kia, she said cannot put this one, it doesn't match, then weirdly tell me not to come back and tell her taste not nice.

So far, I still havent been able to find a really nice HKM and prawn noodle soup.

I find it a lot more difficult to get nice CKT compared to HKM and prawn noodle soup

There are quite a lot pretty decent and good HKM and prawn noodle soup. In comparison, a lot of the CKT are at the barely passing mark

Supposed to be good coz a lot of recommendations. Sheer disappointment after we tried lor. Ate once and nvr go back.

My dad had the soup while I ordered the dried version. Both CMI.

The soup was bland. No prawn broth flavor and sweetness at all. My dad said prawns not fresh, texture nua nua. Dried version, the chilli not spicy not aromatic. And the fried shallots had a chao you gao smell

Cos some hawkers are so 1970s
They close for 1 week etc , just close
No sign, nothing
If you go there specially you'll be disappointed

I know two hawkers who is my relatives. None pass down to their kids, their kids also not interested. All say the same thing, very hardship job, don't want children to take over such jobs.
