Won't help much...

There are already HDB flats built before this policy is meted out.

Eg tiong bahru area / Havelock...

This flats will not be restricted by the clawback policy / can rent out whole unit....

Unless it's across the board implementation on all hdb flats in prime / central locations...

All in all, still earn money mah, u buy those Prime Location for 700K, then sell off for 1.2Million. Pay 10% of selling price which is 120K, still earn over 300+K

a simple solution like transaction can only be done via HDB, be it new or resale, could have solved all the rubbish issues

i really have no idea what govt is trying to achieve right now. on one hand, want citizens to profit through HDB, on the other hand, do not want citizens to profit through HDB. huh?

Recent one year the price of bto has also increased by $100k....


So Bui Bui would suggest not to implement this clawback policy/ cannot rent out whole unit....

It's not fair when buy this "new bto" then gonna restrictions here and there...

Then those hdb blocks built few years earlier not affected...

Can sell million dollars....


Maybe those all hdb flats in prime / central locations cannot sell in open market... Only can sell back to HDB.

Then HDB can put these inventory back into "sales of balance flats"...

Why not just make Sinkies put profits in SA? We can ensure retirement is secured for Sinkies, and also make sure that Sinkies don’t flip and buy condo.

Buy 1 property, got BSD, got increased taxes, got clawback, that is easily 15-20% on paid to the G.

What more you have all sorts of restrictions like 10 year MOP and no rent out entire unit...

Just suck it up and buy the standard flats and leave the PLH alone.

ok . got it.

If selling price i want is $1mil.
that means I must add back in the 9% tax.

So priced it at $1.1mil just to be safe

kanna lottery bto can flip how much .... 10% give u la

some ppl work 10 years also cannot earn so much from flipping ..
If lose money due to bad economy, pap will compensate or not?
