Consistently achieved" vs. "Spate of Disruptions": The article claims SMRT has "consistently achieved" the reliability target since 2019, yet it also details a "spate of disruptions" in recent months, including a six-day disruption on the East-West Line. This suggests a discrepancy between the claimed consistency and the reality of recent events.

Can SMRT make up their mind boh consistently achieved then why is there a spate of disruption?

So got achieved or not achieved?🤔🤔🤔

Consistently achieved and disruption are too separate matters ..
Just like raising fares and train performance are separate.. so please dun link them..

Just like how our public transport fare calculation and formula should be separated from "Performance and reliability", the amt and extent of disruption should also be separated from reliability KPI.

No wonder there is no discrepancy.

Dude just removed the goalposts altogether and said "we're playing a different game"

What a logic.
What a guy.

Actually missed the goalpost but still shouted "GOAL!", therefore, it is a case of kaki kong kaki song, and they know we can't do anything because the whole system is run by P@P ministirs, MoS, and their rich SAF lackeys.

They ownself set target

Moving target based on past performance...

I see companies do that.. doesnt make sense for certain kpi... obviously for breakdowns it doesn't

E.g. KPi calculated based on past 10 years

No. Of downtime more than 1 hr a year

Then usually add +-5% variation

Within this variation, even if 5% lower than target, is considered meet target

Every year u decrease by 3% still consider meet target

But the moving target will go lower and lower since its based on the past 10 years. As breakdowns steadily but slowly increase in frequencies

So this is what they mean by consistent performance... u can actually get cui and even more cui

But within moving target and variation ma..
