last time i bought even the xiaomi hand soap dispender crapped on me withiin 2 months of nromal use lol

their quality is on average horrible

why pay for something taht doesnt work spoil or may even harm my health

Actually u check your japanese brands items made in where or not? I check iphone made in china. Even the kyosho controls cars I got recently also made in china. I think I have to design make my own control using wood if I want it made in sinkapore

these international brands are okay to buy

they are not really fully MIC...their ciritical parts are made in germany korea europe usa and shipped to china to assemble only cus labour there is cheap...they also have good audit systems to check their china operations to try to align to international standards as their reputation at stake so they have very strict audit check systems for china

apple does not make its screens or electronics in china for good reasons

china too corrupted environment too lousy to produce high quality goods generally speaking...same for india indonesia russia etc to some xtent malaysia

Nobody got so much time to think of buying a cheap soap dispenser that is made in Germany. If soap dispenser spoil I will just throw away and buy a new one. I will not take a day leave to go around source for one that is made in Germany and maybe can last me a lifetime.

renowned international brands are fine

china domestic brands are mostly on average bad quality though a few such as lenovo etc have great world leading quality ... but lenovo did acquire many foreign businesses

Yes its an assembly factory...labour is cheap...so apple ship all their parts to china for fozxonn workers to use hands to screw together into iphone...

Its then marked MIC due to rules of origin but the parts are all not china made mostly

Now those factory workers asking for about 600 sgd a month liao slowly they are moving to vietnam even msia

MIC products may not be the best in quality, but they are good value for money.

True for electronics maybe, shipping is also reliable and cheap, that's why shoppee got so big.
