Originally from Putian, Fujian Province in China. Now headquartered in Singapore for better branding I guess.

Tried it out on 205/55R16

Grip wise, feels like similar grip level as previous Tyres.
Quite good on dry, quick lane switch wun feel the Tyre wall lembeh over. Dry brake is good.

Haven't test wet perf much yet.
Noise, is abit similar to previous Tyre, maybe just slightly noiser.

Comfort wise, is on the comfy side.
FC wise, slightly worse than previous Tyre.

Good replacement for economic call I feel from price per overall offering perspective

R16? Nowadays I think minimum come R17-18 liao
But I much prefer 16 inch, cheaper tyres and dun need heartpain

16" also slightly more fuel efficient, but I am used to 17" RIMS, tried 16" b4 and the car and I don't like the road feedback and handling. After a couple of months I switched back to 215/45/R17, the sweet spot.

I'm driving a CN7 with 205/55/R16 Yokohama ADVAN dB V552 now, obviously for comfy ride and not so noise ride!

Is it worth to change to this Hankook Ventus Prime 4 in view of the offered is about $385 inclusive of GST, types balancing, new aluminum valve and nitrogen gas (in which I would opt for normal gas instead!)?

Coz I find the V552 is kind of "floating" on dry road!

If your Yokohama is high mileage liao, can consider la.
Just make sure new taya YOM is 2024 one.

My 2024's v552 is only 3 months old.....

The offered Hankook is a 2024 one..


I just want opinion if I should "anyhow" / worth the hard earned pocket money to spend that $380+ for this Hankook tyre considering that my current V552 is just 3 months old?

True also!. V552 is quite a nice tyre even though I feel that my car is "floating" a bit on dry road!

After driving on Hankook 9ventus prime 4 for a month.. I'm happy with the grip, control and noise level.. felt just as good as pricier Michelin Energy XM and Bridgestone GR80 that I used last time.. and better than other tires I had from Nexen, Laufenn, Hankook..

Comparable good tires from other brands like Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental, Pirelli would cost more than $450, so I think I made a good choice..
