Savings account why have additional fee?
I think the question is if you don’t have savings accounts but pay in advance to the credit card, does withdrawal incur additional fee.
cash advance to the credit card does not have additional cash advance fee.
BUT it will charge credit card rate daily till you pay in full.

""
How much does cash advance cost?

  • There is no cash advance fee. However, you will incur interest charges for the cash advance, calculated on a daily basis at 0.077% (27.9% p.a.) on the amount withdrawn from the posting date of the transaction until the date of full payment. ""

Better not try. It’s like ready credit. Once withdraw will start counting interest on a daily basis, if I’m not wrong.

"Savings account why have additional fee?" -> cos Trust CSO keeps saying Trust cashback cannot be paired to Savings account. Hence withdrawing from Trust cashback will draw from credit limit and attracts finance charge immediately. This is proven wrong.

" if you don’t have savings accounts but pay in advance to the credit card, does withdrawal incur additional fee." -> imo, it wouldn't work because it offsets your current spending on the card. No way Trust knows that you pay in advance to cover ur withdrawl. However, withdrawing and immediately deposit cash same day may not attract finance charge.

Ya. Maybe I will drop Trust CS a note to clarify.
I understand they have common pool for both cashback and link card for bill payment…so maybe might work.
I am pending this to get rid of my youtrip card.

I can confirm that withdraw cash overseas using Trust cashback card incur no cash advance and interest fee when choosing Savings Account. Trust make sure that there is enough money in the savings account. Tested with AEON ATM (0 ATM fee) in Japan

as confirmed here, there is no cash advance and interest when you withdraw using your Trust Cashback card from Trust savings account

the bank will say it takes 4 days to clear for manual payment. call them and ask for waiver. best to apply for giro.

If you use FAST to make payment it's instant. How did you make payment, via pay bills?

All my other card i use axs app but axs dont support trust cc
The question is how you made payments via POSB. If it is via Fast, it is immediate.

I don’t remember that POSB bill payment supports Trust

Are you sure you paid to the correct card number?
Even "pay to card" function works immediately for China banks

Your CC number is acutally an account number.
Select Local -> Add Local Reciepent -> Bank Account then select Trust bank singapore limited and fill in the details
Once done, send SGD 0.1 to test.

Update -
Added my own trust cashback card to "Pay to Card" function in DBS and make a payment. Not instant

It's never instant because it gets routed through the VISA/MC network, so settlement would be more like GIRO.
