This person is well-connected, or has influential background.

Or is the spouse of a powerful figure, or children of an important customer.

No one dare to scold or assign them work. If assigned, light and easy.

Basically, jlb.

But no one dare to touch him/her.

Usually those kind of role are for like Joe Biden's son. Hunter Biden have zero experience in energy sector and in fact is/was a cocaine addict. He given the board of director role in Ukraine Energy company named Burisma, the pay range from 50k - 100k a month (cannot confirm). It is very unlikely you will meet such person in your 9-5 job. Unless you are also a board of director. You think such people even need to come in to work? I don't know, I am an uneducated man.

I know quite a lot of Mayors of a very small country. They do nothing but hold Mayor title and paid half a million every year.
but they gave community vouchers to the citizens that are important to their subsistence :(

There will always be some white horses in your company.
Nothing much you can do about it.

That individual may just be on the payroll, .. and NEVER steps into office.

It happens.

Even in MNCs.
