Donkey years ago, there was no PB in CCF even in HK. I believe it was added in late 90s or early 2000s.
my father was born in Hong Kong and he grew up eating that since the 1950s. Looks like this picture. I dont know why you can be so sure peanut butter in CCF is a new thing.

Hmm.. maybe those street vendor I bought from in the 90s (was a frequent visitor to hk) and they didn't put any. 🤔

This range of items are very low quality imo. ALL FLOUR and hardly any yam or pumpkin. Taste is totally bland on it's own unless you add lots of sauce on your own. Bought one to try as it kept appearing in my sight everytime at NTUC.

When NTUC kept pimping it many months ago, I suspect it's done to feed those in the lower income demographics due to inflation. Not that there is anything wrong with that but I just think process for process food, might as well eat better tasting ones since gonna "die earlier" from eating process food anyway. :sad:
