anyone knows how to remove this really sticky glue on glass containers?

Since your substrate is glass, use heat to burn away the glue.

i plan to reuse it but dont like the labels but some sticky glue are almost impossible to remove even soaking in soap n detergent for weeks! i even tried scrubbing with metal but just create bad scratches.
anyone?

Interesting, so many methods.. will try it next time too..

For me is just use hands, but not very effective, since the container get more sticky with all the leftover residue and after all the scratching, rubbing and peeling and my hands also end up sticky, sometimes my nails cracked too..

home and industrial Adhesive are usually acrylic in nature. Can dissolve in alcohol. So keep a bottle of lighter fluid (from ABC/Good Price shops etc) handy in the storeroom for such cases as and when needed.

i'll start with boiling in hot water since i dont hv to do much

You can also use masking tape to stick and pull them out or use lighter to burn it.

now too late riao.. must slowly rub off..
try using eraser on the label stain.. need a bit of work.. but will come off clean..

next time use heat gun or hair dryer on the label first.. before peel off..
