even pistons and transmission synchro also change liao

this is me knowing my own car and when to change parts due to wear and tear

But I think paying for the inspection should be one way to help in the decision making.

If both choices are available, buy new.

Newer models generally offers a lot more convieniences, 360 cam, BSM, even simple things like autolock when driver walks away.

Then there's better FC, more power/speed for same CC engine.

Finally, while repair cost for 2nd car might not be too expensive, the killer is having to leave car at workshop and having plans disrupted.

Yes gearbox and engine all will cost engine 5 to 7k gearbox 3 to 5k allot 15 to 16k max

As more and more EVs come into the market, these people are just going to get more desperate.

Buy jap cars like Toyota, lexus, usually more reliable and can change oem parts easily.

Conti maybe get mercs. BMW tend to have more issues.
