Having used to FX8 for 36hrs+, it would be better if the fingerprint scanner was place a little higher, maybe at the bottom one third height, relative to the length of the screen. Maybe this is a personal preference.

Face unlock works rediculously fast, at least faster than my previous phone, based on my observations.

I disabled the face unlock due to my phone suka2 unlock and been many times already it's in unlocked mode when I put it in my pocket. The fingerprint scanner is working perfectly fine, 100% success rate, in my case.

Singpass needs fingerprint. Also, my company policy needs outlook and teams to be "app lock", also need fingerprint. In a day, I think I use fingerprint and face unlock equal amount of times.

Anyway, the fingerprint position, it's a minor inconvenience. It's still an awesome phone, especially SOT.

This is 1 of the complain from the china users, the biggest complain is the display causing discomfort and blinding them.

The face unlock is absolutely fast. But when I tilt the phone away from my face and slowly tilt the phone towards my face, I think when the front camera sees half my face it unlock liao. Good for convenience but maybe NSFW (not safe from wife) lol

1 thing I noticed during my commute is that the mobile signal reception is stronger and seems to have lesser place with no signals/data not loading compared to my iPhone 16 Pro Max.

That is the reason why my employer insist on using "app lock" for work related apps, or at least that is the reason I give my wife....

What do you think of the auto brightness settings? Compared to my previous phone, auto brightness reacts quicker on the FX8 and at a comfortable level.

just to feedback my progress.

managed to restore all my whatsapp messages using dr fone but not the media.

i'm getting really frustrated with the long backup. i have approximately 6 days left to use dr fone. if it's still not going to work, i think i going to pass the phone to my wife.. since she complaining that her S23 Ultra is too big for her

Last time ppl all look at basic models mah so got this thinking that only older folks will buy oppo. My mother so used to to oppo that she don't want other brands. My late father also oppo user.

When I ordered there was only this model available. Now I can see got other model too
