An NSF army officer who commanded our branch. Was an good officer during our time ad cared for his men under him. But after he ORD-ed he met some bad company while working in one of the casino as a dealer and they went illegal gambling underground. He was addicted to it then and started to become very erratic afterwards at work and in life also till the casino fired him.

In the end he chalked up a huge ass debt with the loan sharks which he couldn’t repay and he committed suicide near where he stayed. He was like only around 21 or 22..?

The big news was one ex classmate had jumped from height. She was always a kancheong spider but never knew she cannot think open. Aged late 20s nia

That’s not true … I’m late 40s … I still remember my 1st love’s name But I guess her initials tattooed on my person makes it hard to forget

Anyways … my contribution:

1. Cousin, died of leukemia at age 14. We visited him at the hospital near his passing … he was lying down on the hospital bed, then he sat up eyes wide open but apparently he couldn’t see anything, and he started wailing for his mother … that affected me for many years.
2. Shared this classmate story a few times - we were already in our early 30s … he was a hardcore gamer, used to hang out at a LAN shop near my old place so several guys I grew up with around the area also knew him … 1 of them told me … apparently some MMO released an expansion pack and he locked himself in his bedroom playing, until his mother realised she hadn’t seen him for like 3 days, unlocked his door found him on the floor dead with foam in the mouth. Apparently he died from a blood clot somewhere from not moving from his seat for so long.
3. 1 of my oldest and dearest friends, Primary school classmate … super rich and influential family, got chaffeur … parents sent him to US to study during his early teens, ended up a meth head, supposedly also did cocaine. Involved in film industry - I happened to see the director of a movie he was involved in post on Facebook about RIP to him, so messaged this director - Josh Vargas - asking him about it … Josh told me my friend had schizophrenia from the years of drug use until 1 day he jumped out of his condo window I went to visit his tablet at Kong Meng San some time back.

my friend used to tell me, life is statistics. out of 10 ppl you know, on average you'll know 1 ded <50, 2 ded <60, 3 ded <70, 4 ded >80s. sounds correct to me loh...

Yes that was what exactly happened to my secondary school mate who jumped from her yishun flat back in June 2004, she was only 22, she was 7 months pregnant
