That's another major headache to me bro.
I am really very scare on financial expenses.
Many issues on my mind..

I wish her stay strong..
It seems she has accepted her fate and appears to b strong to move on…
Imagined she handled the Reno, birth without hubby and moving to her new home alone.
I admire her determination to overcome all odds and rise above adversity for her son and the love for her late hubby

i have to keep reminding myself, i am alone.
Sleep alone, talk to myself, want to communicate with my wife? Need to use mind to talk to her.
It is going to be tough but i am learning to be alone...
Painful as it is, but there is no rewind back in time.

u can write down your thoughts before u experience the flashback, what u heard and how u felt to deal with them, and most importantly remind yourself that u are safe and practise self care

@Lchlch Bro, I am not a doctor, but I will pray for you and your loved ones.

This is my homework for tonight.

The Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore (Heart Sutra)

Avalokiteshvara
while practicing deeply with
the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore,
suddenly discovered that
all of the five Skandhas are equally empty,
and with this realisation
he overcame all Ill-being.

“Listen Sariputra,
this Body itself is Emptiness
and Emptiness itself is this Body.
This Body is not other than Emptiness
and Emptiness is not other than this Body.
The same is true of Feelings,
Perceptions, Mental Formations,
and Consciousness.

“Listen Sariputra,
all phenomena bear the mark of Emptiness:
their true nature is the nature of
no Birth no Death,
no Being no Non-being,
no Defilement no Purity,
no Increasing no Decreasing.

“That is why in Emptiness,
Body, Feelings, Perceptions,
Mental Formations and Consciousness
are not separate self entities.

“The Eighteen Realms of Phenomena
which are the six Sense Organs,
the six Sense Objects,
and the six Consciousnesses
are also not separate self entities.

“The Twelve Links of Interdependent Arising
and their Extinction
are also not separate self entities.

“Ill-being, the Causes of Ill-being,
the End of Ill-being, the Path,
insight and attainment,
are also not separate self entities.

“Whoever can see this
no longer needs anything to attain.

“Bodhisattvas who practice
the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore
see no more obstacles in their mind,
and because there
are no more obstacles in their mind,
they can overcome all fear,
destroy all wrong perceptions
and realize Perfect Nirvana.

“All Buddhas in the past, present and future
by practicing
the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore
are all capable of attaining
Authentic and Perfect Enlightenment.

“Therefore Sariputra,
it should be known that
the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore
is a Great Mantra,
the most illuminating mantra,
the highest mantra,
a mantra beyond compare,
the True Wisdom that has the power
to put an end to all kinds of suffering.

“Therefore let us proclaim
a mantra to praise
the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore:

Gate, gate, pāragate, pārasaṃgate, bodhi svāhā,
Gate, gate, pāragate, pārasaṃgate, bodhi svāhā,
Gate, gate, pāragate, pārasaṃgate, bodhi svāhā!”

Translated by Thich Nhat Hanh from Prajñāpāramitā-hṛdaya Sūtra. See Taishō 251.

Can u find time to seek professional help?
If you still want to b around for your kids?
Once u suffer a mental breakdown, you won’t be the same/ whole again, like a broken mirror…
U will lose your job and won’t b able to get another…

I witnessed how my classmate broke down mentally and though she works very hard to b independent financially, her conditions worsen with aging and the medicine that normally helped her is becoming less effective due to body hormonal changes…

worst of all, occasional relapse can’t be avoided and being warded at imh is essential.

Hope you will seek medical guidance to help you mitigate the impact of the grief…

A good professional will show ways that u can better manage your grief with…

pls do as soon as possible…

U ain’t experiencing grief normally…
