I've tried firing 100 plus blanks on auto for both before, M16 keeps IA due to the fact that most M16 for reservists are alrdy 20 yrs or more. Where else SAR is relatively younger in service compared to M16
Yes, you sure know mindef matters well.

I remember I trained with m16 in bmt. Then it was Ar15 all the way in our unit, key point as you pointed out rightly.

I prefer HK416.

M16 format, but with gas piston mechanism that is easier to clean, like SAR-21 (compared to direct-impingement of M16)

I like the M16 format better on the ergonomic front. Nicer to hold.

Dunno leh, i handle different small arms at different time one.
Only never shoot rocket, fire howitzer, fire 40mm agl, fire minigun, left disappointed
