Did a quick Google.

a) He was born on the territory of the relevant association;
b) His biological mother or biological father was born on the territory of the relevant association;
c) His grandmother or grandfather was born on the territory of the relevant association;
d) He has lived continuously for at least five years after reaching the age of 18 on the territory of the relevant association.

Hmm if that's so simple then I'm not sure why Perry Ng hasn't been called up yet.

I read his wiki article, it's saying he's trying to apply for singapore citizenship?
It's a member association ego thing.. am I going to let someone with British nationality represent my nation?

Once there is clarity on the eligibility criteria AND the powers-that-be (FAS/MINDEF/government) are amenable to non-citizens representing the national team, we could potentially field a much stronger first XI.

I always look out for Singapore-eligible players on Football Manager...

Past few FMs I always played Sunderland.

Luke O Nien was one of my favourite. (until Fm24 when Sunderland was rather good with young talents and I phased him out rather quickly :s13:)

Never thought the Lions can make it to the semis, so they penciled in JJ concert so that the space would not be wasted

I think Perry Ng pay is very high and whether he needs to serve NS or not is an issue.

Don't think NS is an issue for him. I think the only problem is whether he can continue to play in England?
I see Perry Ng more confidence player than many, he is one of our hope for future

I think he is definitely the best defender in SEA once converted. Don't think anyone in SEA playing at a higher level than the english Championship.

That is why he is paid so much. He is 1-2 level higher than ASEAN standard. Get Luke O nien, Perry Ng to beef up our defence. Then get Daniel au yeung to play as forward or attacking midfield together with song and the ex jap guy. Also. Get Harry Briswistle in when he is ready to join us.

With this team we can let Thailand lead 2-0 first, then slowly give them back 4-2.

But it may not work.

on paper Philippines should be the hot favourites and thrashing every team.

Look at their team is basically an European South American team when full squad is recalled. When they add the premier league experience, which I heard from grapevine one of the palace striker and another mid with spurs.

until we can recall our mix blood it will be hard to challenge.

Nope is rojak. Both history. Philippines naturally more American and European. Indo more Dutch can understand also.

You should be hired as Oguru assistant to help him scout talents

Vietnam is more or less topping the group with superior goal difference even if they lose to Mynammar. The fight for 2nd place is more interesting with 3 teams fighting for it
