i assume u're serious qn.

1st of all is her house her decision, i do not have control over it. "Just like asking u go tell ur parent to sell away their flat."
And i believe i will earned my money to buy my own house. Even no money to pay during key collection, i will also go find my own ways. No1 own another person a living in this world.

2nd, u rent out is more than u go flip or downsize.

3th, moving house/renovation is very tedious.

i really scratch head at your idea

that would be a super L move no matter how one thinks about it.
the only way it'll make sense is both die die wana upgrade to a bigger flat + lack the $ for initial payment + reno
