I remember once I went Japan in the autumn season alone. Half way through I caught a flu with severe body ache, bouts of fever with thick dark green mucous. I never felt so sick in my life.

Isn't that the usual flu experience? I guess I seldom catch it, but when I do, it is as you described. But if got high fever, I'd fully recover in 3 days instead of 2 weeks (of a lot of phlegm and coughing) if without. Fever works wonders, if it is within limits. I never take any meds.

I only get severe cough lasted for weeks After borders open.

the 2 weeks in jippun keep coughing. Other than that is well.
came back SG. Went for X-ray & took medications.

Doc say might be pollen season change.

took me 1.5 months to recover. Luckily can claim medical from travel insurance.

It wasn’t the usual flu, much much more serious than the usual. I can tell from the amount and thickness of green mucous that I expelled.
