I overcame the whatsapp transfer issue this way and I think its the fastest and easiet way.

1. Connect an SSD drive to old device.
2. Use file explorer app to go to Android->Media folder to look for the Whatsapp folder.
3. Copy that entire whatsapp folder to the SSD drive
4. Once done, connect SSD drive to new device and copy the whatsapp folder back to same location in new device.
5. Install Whatsapp in new device. Run it and it will detect the folder data and restore everything according. All chats and associated media.

You can do the same above using PC by connecting devices to PC.

This is 1 advantage of android, you can copy paste the entire folder and paste to the new device.

IMHO.
I will definitely want to try it out.
I am able to upload my folders to local NAS. Just that haven't try the restore part. 🤔

Someone was asking me about the spigen frosted casing sometime ago....so here's my comment- the case is stunning...because of the frosted black, it creates a nice metallic grey / light blue tint to it. The casing also fits well with the ugreen privacy tempered glass.

However one negative- i think the corner of the casing where the spen is a big risk. Spigen has cut it too wide and too lean. Hence that corner becomes vulnerable if you drop your phone at that exact corner, it's gonna be gg. Your spen and corner will get scratch.

I will probably change another casing soon.....personally corners are the ones which get damaged easily when we drop our phones hence I am not going to take this risk.

Do I copy the

1) "com.whatsapp" folder, or
2) the child folder inside (whatsapp)?
