Lol my tempered glass and case from Spigen arriving 2moro...s25u no where in sight...even normal titanium black not limited color also need wait til neck long... 😴
i also got the glass and case from spigen..
nb, put in and saw a dust speck at the side.
kns. lifted it and mis-aligned it.

I just learnt from the lady who picked up my S22 that the protection for my S22 metal frame is still intact. I didn't even realize there is a film covering the S22 metal frame for the past 26 months using the S22 😅.

I checked the S25U but don't seem to have a protective film covering the frame maybe cos it's titanium so no need film protection.

Feels sad to let go of my S22 cos it is in pristine condition except for the pink line on the screen. I only found out about the $58 screen repair after I completed the Samsung ore-order.

Moot point but just curious if Samsung willl recover the $180 bonus trade-in on top of the trade-in value payable to CompAsia if we were to cancel the trade-in 🤔.
what is the $58 screen repair?

Hi All, I bought S25U. Transferred everything from S24U via smartswitch except Whatsapp. I am aware many are facing issue transferring chat from old to new phone. Just to share here I have just tried restore from google backup AND also via local file (msgstore.db.crypt14) today. Both method failed. Received error message that said "0 messages restored".

Has anyone found solution yet?

now my delivery date change to from 11th Feb...hopefully they won't kena delay much longer than this cos I have alr arranged CompAsia to pickup my S23 Fe on 17th...

coz my gf ordered like first day. the delivery was to be on 5feb but till now still preparing order...

I keep harping on this issue that I pre-ordered so that I can receive it before the official release date, not to receive it after it then it defeats the purpose of preordering. I press for the order to be expedited but live chat can't do nuts can only keep saying limited access and only able to track order status. I can also track the order myself...

At least the hotline more helpful, gave me more details and help to highlight my order to be expedited but I can only take it with a pinch of salt.
They also told me their delivery is batch by batch. I wonder what that means cos im thinking its like on a fastfood, whenever you checkout food then its first in their system, but still a lot who preorder during the announcement date still haven't received their devices. Talking to their live chat gives me anxiety. :grin:

Called the hotline 1 Gilbert handle my case tell me die die cannot early...14 Feb shipping means 14 Feb onwards...they backlog a lot I say I understand but preorder then get later then official launch Abit turn off he say he cannot do anything about it...

Leaves a sour note on my virgin purchase from Samsung online...long time Samsung user too since s3 and note 1 days...

I kinda expected the 14th Feb date is not going to be accurate. We shall see how far off this round they get.

My point is. If they have a lot lf back logs, they should just pause the sales and not let greed take over customer service.

What I can presume is they are using the FIFO approach, they process orders that came in first but from what I see from other online sources, many others who pre-ordered earlier than me hasn't receive too. I wanted to question them this issue as well. :s13:

The live chat quite useless and gave me wrong info as well. If their duty is just to give me order tracking status and nothing else, I can also do it on my own.

Don't think is FIFO. During the S23 Ultra order days, i known of people who ordered later than me, getting the unit earlier.

IIRC back then during S23 ultra promo got ppl who ordered their device way later, and end up theirs ship out in a short while. meanwhile some who order earlier was still waiting.

for me, if they drag too long to the point where i lose interest in the phone, i will just try the new iPhone SE liao which rumour is this week launch. not like dead set on the S25 and okay with both Android or iOS. Just want to find a small and lightweight phone that still has good processor that I can upgrade to. If samsung can't get their act together, then can only say is no fate liao. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
