Not sure why some ppl encounter the error. My was trsfer over successfully from the old to new device via Google cloud

Same. No issue for me either. It was very smooth restoring from the backup.

Perhaps some encryption settings on the whatsapp backup that was discussed few days back. Mine wasn't enabled.

Any guide on how to restore whatsapp from iOS to Samsung? Been looking on Youtube but not sure which one works for you with all the bugs that is happening. I have atleast 10Gb of whatsapp backup that if possible i want to restore everything.

google drive is the best solution or discussed a few page back copying the whatsapp data out. Google it ..

The AOD on S25 series don’t seem to be moving for anti-burn in. That quite weird

fixed . last sat i managed to move my ios to android within 27 minutes via smart switch

Some observation S24U vs S25U
1) Display is warmer, had to dial down vividness to get back the right whitebalance
2) Alot of notifications is not vibrating/notified. Need to learn to see how to get the old icon stack back on AOD.
3) Samsung film protector is easy to install. Has the same purple tint, but absolutely reducing the lux reflection as compared to Spigen or Ugreen. Seriously encourage people not to use glass SP now as you are really killing the main selling point of the phone, which is your screen.
4) Didnt had issue with whatsapp restore. Thought its common issue, but just did it and seem to restore ok
5) The left swipe right swipe separation very irritating. Anyway to set it back to old style?

For point 3 is up to personal preference in my opinion.

Number 5 can adjust using the pen icon there. But media controls will need to swipe down to access, a bit annoying.

For Samsung film sp, does it cover the camera? If it's cut out, is it u shaped or o shaped?
