S25U 512GB Titanium JetBlack - Ordering Adventure
  • Ordered on Samsung Website: 27 Jan (Initial Delivery Schedule: 19 Feb)
  • Preparing Order to Awaiting Dispatch: Changed Delivery Schedule: 5 Feb
  • Went back to Preparing Order on 5 Feb
  • 10 Feb contacted CS via Samsung Chat to enquire about status
  • 10 Feb afternoon changed to Awaiting Dispatch
  • 11 Feb afternoon changed to Out for Delivery (Email received)
  • 12 Feb 0045hrs Delivery SMS received (Delivery between 1400-1800hrs)
  • 12 Feb 1100hrs received package at home
very sus tbh.... you are not the first one that call liao, then they start to deliver. @kashix and @Alexz_Hong one is the same as well

I strongly suspect:
1. Order changed from awaiting dispatch back to preparing order is to allocate the phone to someone else that call in to make noise aka kpkb
2. Then after u call in to make noise/kpkb, they allocate someone else order to you. So the person will see their order status change from awaiting dispatch back to preparing order

If it's like that then quite bad ethics

not sure, but this is what i observed based on what the bros share here...

else how do we explain the status change from awaiting dispatch > preparing order? and how do we explain why we call in, can ship out like the next day.

for @Alexz_Hong case, he called in and that day ship out itself liao... before he call in, order status is preparing order though :s13:

Haven't a clue. It could just be coincidence.

I have followed this thread regularly and read what other HWZers have done. Hence, I reached out to the CS on the 10th to ask if there was any update. I felt that there was no need for me to come in all angry at the CS on the other end of the chat, so I just politely asked if he could expedite it. I didn't expect much, so I was pleasantly surprised that things got moving.

So it all worked out fine for me. (y)

How did the chat go for you? I tried chat with the post sales agent and whenever I seek to have my order to be expedited, the agent can only deflect the question and tell me to call the hotline which isn't helpful

I did not expect much, because I was also given standard replies. I just thanked him for his time and requested for a case # if I would like to follow up. I was already prepared to wait till the initial delivery date of 19/2 so no expectations from me. Doubt he could do any magic too. :ROFLMAO:

The funny thing is... even though I have the phone today, I won't have the time to sit down to due the necessary transfers from my old phone until the weekend. :ROFLMAO:

Btw for those whose SC+ are already activated, can I check whether this information has been updated on your phone settings? I received an email from Samsung that it has been activated yesterday but it is still showing as not activated in About Phone under settings.
Ooo it's showing on the phone as well now.

You can be polite, but firm and deadly.

I got mine on mon after I called in on sat. That's after they rolled back my status twice from awaiting dispatch back to preparing order and missed the feb 5 date by 5 days.

I'm quite sure they would have let me waited further if I didn't call..

I believe Samsung did place themselves in a tight spot when they put out the sentence "FROM 5 FEB". Automatically, everyone believes that they will get the phone "ON 5 FEB".

My 100w ugreen nexode charger works with sfc 2.0. perhaps those not getting 2.0 there is something to do with the cable u used?

Supposedly s25 less anal about what can give sfc 2.0. previously it didn't work on my 24u except on the official 45w charger.

i will try again tonight with another USB C cable .. the cable works fine with Prolink & Samsung chargers, i had swap another cable also same result yesterday.

very much agree with this. and it's been like this for years with no improvement. Apple will give a range at like, like between "date A to date B". so at least you know won't be later than date B. Samsung one is basically unlimited time frame. Doesn't help that their ordering system is one of the most hassle one. want to cancel order have to contact them. refund process is exceedingly slow to process and can take weeks. and if you receive the phone liao and want to return, get ready for the process to take over a month.

thats why i mentioned, i wouldnt be surprised that allocate the stock supposed to be dispatched for u to other angry customers that call in :s13:

worst thing i contact their CSO, and they also mentioned, they did not commit any dates. only mentioned start shipping FROM <date>
