how to know my area is ready for M1 3Gbps/6Gbps/10Gbps plan?

https://shop.m1.com.sg/fbb/plans-bundles/fbb-plan?plan=HOMEPAC_6GBPS_24
HomePac 3Gbps and above plans are only available at selected locations.

For new sign-ups, click here to see if your location is eligible.

For re-contracting customers, log in and proceed to the next step to check your location’s eligibility.

If your location isn't ready yet, we recommend choosing our 2.5Gbps or 1Gbps plan.

Assume now I'm on 512mbps @ $29.90
So now I'm paying $432 for the router?

This is the normal price. The promotion for the recontract offer will be with S$15 OFF, at S$32.90 per month with the free Archer BE805.

Archer BE805 is now worth at about S$300+ in Carousell and it is a decent 10G capable WiFi 7 router. I bought one from an M1 user here at S$300 myself.

This M1 6Gbps recontract offer is a superb offer, if you are eligible.

Just had an update from the CSO on my missing promo discount. I will also be getting a credit offset, same as sHrike did. The backend is also investigating why the website failed to apply the discount properly, hopefully we can see an improvement soon for future applicants.

Not entirely sure what's the criteria for customers to receive the promo. My 500mbps contract expired almost 2 years ago and I just let it roll, but I am with M1 for almost 10 years. The Starhub 5gbps plan for $29.90 is also quite good I feel, if you are looking at alternatives.

Your case very similar to me. I had been with M1 broadband 15 years. Not in contract past 2 to 3 years, on 500mbps. Never recontract till now cos 500mbps sufficient for family and price ok.

Actually this link is only for new users. For existing users, better log in to the app and check the availability.

It seems to me in certain area, M1 may have limited deployment for XGS-PON based services (3Gbps/6Gbps/10Gbps plans). They have to prioritize the limited deployment to recontract users.

BTW, if you take a look at the following note from M1, it seems to me that M1 will only fully deploy the XGS-PON based service in July 2025.

Note: If you plan to move your address by June 2025, we recommend signing up for our 1Gbps or 2.5Gbps plans.

same... but sad that I had already booked Starhub (NLT already came, SH appt in the next few days). Probably too late to cancel SH now (wasted my M1 recontract offer)

I wonder why M1 doesn't publicise their activation schedule for XGSPON... and I would have waited
