New Widowmaker: 1,900 Horsepower 911 Turbo S

This 991.2 911 Turbo S is pushing 1,900 horsepower which makes it blindingly quick and a handful to drive.

How much horsepower is too much? Is it silly to want a 1,900-horsepower car? A lot of folks will tell you that there is no such thing as too much power. You can give them a car with a million horsepower, and they will still ask for more. But the reality is that any power that you have, has to be usable. Meaning that a car needs to be able to be put to the ground all the power and it needs to be controllable. The Porsche 911 Turbo S does a fantastic job of putting power to the ground when it is stock.

I owned a lightly modified 991.2 Turbo S and can tell you from experience, the thing is a rocket ship. It just grips and rips. My car was making around 650 to 700 horsepower at the crank. What would a car making roughly triple that power be like? Will it be faster or will it be undrivable? Yes, and yes. Over on the Officially Gassed YouTube channel a video was dropped recently showing an ES Motor-modified 991.2 Turbo S that supposedly can make up to 1,900 horsepower on its highest setting. The gang takes the car to a runway to see what that is like. It is as insane and terrifying as you would expect.
