At first glance my guess would be maybe a ram issue, since your psu is very highly rated as a high quality unit.
Could be a memory incompatibility with outdated bios version of the motherboard.

Got blue screen? Usually a good indicator of bad ram is blue screens etc.
Ran sfc /scannow and memtest86. All no issues. Suspect might be some windows files corrupted after some windows update. No blue screen or sort. PC is around 5+ years. Only gpu changed recently

If the issues started up after u changed, could be that your drivers are not updated. Did you DDU your old drivers and install the newest amd drivers?

Make sure to check the ram to rule it out. Also check your GPU power connections, recently had a friend that encountered a lot of black screen/freezing due to a loose GPU power cable.

there is no stock for 5000s so how can the 4000s come down in price?

Amazon can get 127$ for G.Skill flare x 6000mhzCL32, that Ares set is $140.
That CPU is 260 on TB, but looks like DYNACORE give pretty good price.
Currently using RP130($51 TB), imo is quieter and more performant than the pa140.

For RAM, save $9 for the same set from Amazon but wait 2-4 weeks for shipping. I rather pay the extra for much faster delivery. G. Skill flare x might be worth the savings though.

tbh, most air cooler around this tier about the same. Just chose the cheapest of the bunch.

I think it's more like 1 week, i regularly order stuff from amazon. Never seen a 2-4 weeks shipping from amazon before. And the air cooler does make a difference in terms of acoustics, nobody wants to hear their PA/PS120 going full blast when the cpu under load. I'm much more satisfied with the RP130 than the PA140, its much quieter and performs better for only $10. I rather pay extra $10-20 for the best air cooler instead of thinking twice and changing parts out next time.

both 4000 and 5000 series use tsmc 4nm, with only so many fabs. nvidia had to stop 4000 series production to free up capacity to produce 5000 series.
Hi recently i my com has been crashing quite a bit for no reason, even when im not gaming just watching netflix/youtube. Not quite sure what caused it. Planning to format my com to see if it fix the issue. Else am planning to upgrade my PC as the last resort.

Mainly used for afterwork gaming (fortnite) and i play on 1440p. Gotten the specs from page 1 mix and match a bit not sure if the below specs are okay for its budget

CPU + Mobo: 7500F + MSI B650M Gaming Plus
CPU Cooler: TR Phantom Spirit 120 SE
GPU: Sapphire Pulse 7800XT (not sure if i should reuse my 3060ti since its only 1.5 years old)
Ram: Adata XPG Lancer 6000MHz CL30 32gb
PSU: Adata XPG Core Reactor 850W
Case: Montech Air 100
as soreloser mentioned, did u ddu? does this issue persist if u swap back ur old 3060ti?

78xt probably wont be able to hit high refresh rates on aaa games at 1440p, the 9070xt maybe got chance.

sls already has the klevv fit v 6000c32 for around $120-130, no need go online or wait.

No. Issue started few months after i upgraded. I uninstalled my old gpu drivers before installing the new one

The board is quite expensive for the features that it offers, $265 can get b650m aorus elite ax on amazon, or $323 for B850 Aorus elite ax Wifi7, much higher quality boards than the PG riptide, which can be considered a budget-mid tier board. Personally i would rather pay for a high quality board if i'm getting one at $270

The alternative was the aorus b650m u mentioned as there are several on carousell but for motherboards, warranty IS a concern. The number of b650m boards with local warranty and 12+2+1 power phases with decent VRM and able to drop at least 50A at below 300 is severely limited and this is the best I found at this price range.

The main problem is me wanting mATX as it's just the right size for me. Problem is most mATX boards are budget boards and the good ones are overpriced AF

is the pg riptide that much better? i think both are quite similar. both have an almost identical usb config, 2 nvme slots (1 gen5 with heatsink), wifi6 + 2.5g, etc. the riptide does have an additional pcie x4 slot (physical x16), integrated io shield and some rgb, but i wouldnt pay extra $60+ for those. the vrm runs cooler on the asus board actually, though either will work fine with even a 9950x.
also, if ur comfortable buying from taobao, i suggest getting ur 7700 from there, can be had for around $250 (or see if can nego the carou seller to around this price). u can also consider getting the cpu + mobo combo there too, given that it can be much cheaper (i found the same combo for about $450 all in with cainiao direct air) and local distros seem more than happy to reject rma claim due to oxidation which is inevitable here.

one of the main benefits of increasing the number of phases is to decrease the operating temperatures of the vrm. as mentioned previously, the tuf board runs cooler while using fewer phases (the pg riptide runs the hottest), so more phases ≠ better vrm. imo vrm quality should only be considered as a tiebreaker after comparing features and pricing. and again, local distro warranty is not as reliable as it seems.

I'm starting to reconsider against asrock boards now:

Even though I'm not currently using 9000 series CPU, have no idea how this might affect future chips. Probably be sticking with the Asus(seems like only their premium board have issues).

After looking at the recommendations, this is the list for my new PC for office work. Any parts that I should change?

CPU & MB: Ryzen 5 5600G + Asus PRIME B550M-A (WI-FI) ($288 Dynacore)
Memory: TEAM T-FORCE DELTA RGB 3600MHz CL18 KIT(aura sync) ($55 Dynacore)
Storage: Crucial P3 Plus 2 TB ($159 Tradepac)
PSU: FSP HV PRO 85+ 550W Black cables - ($58 Bizgram)
Case: Silverstone lucid04 ($69 Dynacore)

Total: $629
Just wondering, if you're doing only office work and no gaming, why not consider a mini pc instead? You do not need to worry about parts compatibility and everything is already there. Also extremely small and portable. Most importantly, it's cheap. If you want a better one.

The other day when i went down to sls to get full system quote from the different sls shops, dynacore told me they don't carry ryzen 7600x as it is parallel import and was recommending me on ryzen 7700. When i checked with all the other shops like tradepac/perf pc they carry 7600x and it is local warranty. Is this the case of different shops source their components differently, some pi some local distro?

Anyway, I am waiting for the 9070xt pricing on thursday before deciding when i should build my system
